Hope is a recipe passed down through generations

and we’re using it to rebuild lives.

01.

Education

We empower rural girls through mentorship and scholarships to prevent early marriage and open pathways to higher education.

02.

Economic Empowerment

We provide low-income women with vocational training, and certifications that lead to stable income and independence.

03.

Community

We create spaces for connection and healing through shared meals, creative workshops, and storytelling circles.

At the heart of our work is

Social impact

While our work is centered around building communities in the U.S, our impact reaches far to create opportunities for rural women in Turkmenistan.

We work to address domestic based violence at its roots, helping women and girls build safer and stronger futures. We achieve this through our three robust programs:

Educational Attainment

Girls who complete their education are three times less likely to marry before 18 and earn up to 60% more over their lifetime (UNESCO). Each year, we enroll rural high-school girls in a rigorous mentorship program, ensuring they receive the guidance and resources needed to pursue higher education.

Economic Empowerment

Research shows that women’s earnings can reduce domestic violence risk by up to 35%. We partner with vocational schools to provide skills training and certifications to young mothers and married women, creating access to stable income and financial independence.

Community

Social isolation fuels stigma and silence. We build community through monthly shared meals, creative workshops, and storytelling circles, engaging local women in peer-led support gatherings. Rooted in cultural traditions of food and craft, we offer stigma-free entry points for connection and healing. Women who participate in such groups are 40% more likely to report or resist violence (UN Women).

Empowering women is the key to building the future we want.
